Student Transfer for 2023-2024

Open for students who reside in the Coppell ISD boundaries AND are currently enrolled in a Coppell ISD school and would like to request a transfer to another Coppell ISD school. Students must complete a transfer request form annually.

All students attending their current school on a transfer must complete a transfer request form to remain at the transfer school for the 2023-2024 school year.

Application Window

There were two opportunities to request a student transfer for the 2023-2024 school year.

The first transfer opportunity: March 1- March 31
- Families notified of transfer decisions on or after April 26, 2023
The second opportunity: June 1- July 10
- Families notified of transfer decisions on or after July 31, 2023

Decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

Note, transfer requests are granted for limited reasons. All transfer requests are subject to space availability. For more information, please read the above Transfer Guidelines.

Timeline
For the 2023-2024 school year online applications are available from March 1st through March 31st. Please visit the Student and Staff Services Webpage for an online application during the designated request windows. Applications are not active outside of the designated Request Window timeline.

Newly hired CISD employees or CISD employees with a change in assignment to a different work location may request a student transfer within 10 days of employment. All transfer requests are based on space availability. Note, requests must be resubmitted each year and when a student transitions from Elementary to Middle School or Middle School to High School.
